After the incredible success of our first intake, we are bringing back our seven week course based on the renowned book, The Etiquettes of Seeking Knowledge.
This was one of the very first subjects traditionally taught to students, yet today it is one of the most neglected.
If you are serious about seeking Islamic knowledge, this course is for you.
This course is offered both in person and online.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Understand the purpose and virtue of seeking Islamic knowledge.
Cultivate sincerity and the correct intention in the pursuit of knowledge.
Identify the essential characteristics and qualities of a successful student of knowledge.
Strengthen their relationship with Allah through the pursuit of sacred knowledge.
Demonstrate the proper etiquette towards teachers and scholars.
Apply the correct manners when interacting with fellow students.
Develop a respectful and organised approach to books and learning resources.
Recognise the rights and responsibilities of a student of knowledge towards themselves, their Lord, their teachers, their peers, and their studies.
Recognise common obstacles that prevent knowledge from benefiting its seeker.
Implement practical habits that increase the blessing and benefit of knowledge.
Appreciate the importance of sincerity, humility, patience, perseverance, and good character in the journey of seeking knowledge.
Build a strong foundation for lifelong study upon the methodology of the pious predecessors.

Course Notes
Course notes will be shared with students after each class to support revision, reflection, and continued benefit.These notes are provided for personal use only and must not be shared or distributed.

None Required – This course is open to all, regardless of prior knowledge.
To enrol in this course, students must be over 13 years old and have a good understanding of English.

Students must attend all classes.
One absence is permitted, but multiple unexcused absences will result in expulsion from the course.

THIS IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE
Students who wish to receive a certificate of completion must successfully complete the following:
Research Paper - A research paper in the form of a structured book summary based on a selected prescribed text - announced on the first week of class.
The paper will not exceed 25 pages of writing.
Final Exam: Assess your grasp of the course material through a final exam (Pass Mark: 80%).
