ASK A QUESTION
Send a question to the Sheikh.
Please note that submitting a question does not guarantee a response. However, this is the easiest and most effective way for the Sheikh to receive and address your question.
Responses may be provided in the form of a publicly posted video or other content. Any identifying details, including names and personal information, will be omitted to protect your privacy.
Send The Sheikh A Letter
This is your opportunity to share your story.
If you are experiencing hardship, struggling with a personal issue, or simply want the Sheikh to understand the challenges people in our community are facing, you are welcome to write a letter.
Perhaps you are struggling with your faith, battling a sin that you desperately want to leave behind, carrying emotional wounds from abuse or trauma, facing difficulties in your marriage or family, feeling distant from your parents or children, or dealing with something that no one else knows about. You may simply want someone to understand what life has been like for you.
Your letter helps us better understand the real issues affecting our community, so that our reminders, classes, videos, and discussions address the challenges people are actually facing, rather than speaking in generalities.
Your privacy is important to us. If your letter is used to help educate others, all names, identifying details, and personal information will be removed or changed to protect your anonymity.
While we may not be able to respond to every letter individually, your experiences can help shape future content that benefits others facing similar struggles. By sharing your story, you may become the means through which Allah brings guidance, comfort, and hope to many others.
WHO IS SHEIKH FARHAN BIN RAFEE’
Sheikh Farhan Bin Rafee is a graduate of the Islamic University of Madinah, one of the most prestigious Islamic institutions in the world. He spent six years studying in the city of the Prophet ﷺ and graduated from the Faculty of Hadith and Islamic Sciences in 2020.
Born in Fiji, he moved to Sydney, Australia, at the age of two. After completing his schooling in Australia, he enrolled at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to study Journalism, Media and Communications. However, upon being accepted into the Islamic University of Madinah, he left that degree to pursue Islamic studies.

He then undertook four years of specialised study in the Faculty of Hadith and Islamic Sciences, graduating with a grade of Mumtaaz, Excellence with second class honours.
Sheikh Farhan has studied under many of the leading scholars of Madinah, as well as his father, who himself studied under some of the great scholars of this era in both India and Saudi Arabia. He has also received numerous Ijazahs in various Islamic sciences, connecting him through continuous chains of transmission to the scholars of Islam and to the Prophet ﷺ.
Since returning to Australia, Sheikh Farhan has been actively engaged in Dawah, calling to a return to the Islam that changed the world, the traditional Sunni Islam rooted in the Quran and the authentic Sunnah of Muhammad ﷺ, as understood by the Companions, their students, and those who followed in their footsteps.
He is currently the Imam of MYCA Greenacre, teaches full time at The Sunnah Hub, and regularly delivers seminars and educational tours throughout Australia and internationally, connecting students to the classical Islamic sciences. He also serves in an advisory capacity on the Shura boards of multiple Masajid and Islamic organisations both locally and internationally.
